குயர் சென்னை க்ரானிக்கிள்ஸின் ‘பால்புது பக்கங்கள்’, இலக்கியம் (புனைவுக் கதைகள்), கவிதைகள், ஓவியம் (கருத்து வெளிப்பாடுகள்) மற்றும் அறிக்கைகளின் மூலம் வேறுபட்ட விவரிப்புகளை சொல்ல முயல்கிறது. இதழாசிரியர்கள் என்ன எதிர்பார்க்கிறார்கள், உங்கள் கதைகளை எங்களுக்கு அனுப்புவது எப்படி, அதற்கான நிபந்தனைகள் என்ன என்பதை கோடிட்டு காட்டுவதற்காக இந்த ஆவணம் தரப்பட்டுள்ளது.

உங்கள் படைப்புகளை அனுப்புவதற்கு முன்பு, நாங்கள் என்ன எதிர் பார்க்கிறோம் என்பதை தெரிந்துகொள்ள வலை இதழைப் படிக்கவும். பொதுவாக, பால்புது சொல்லாடல்களை முன்னெடுக்கும் கதைகளையும், பால்புது எழுத்துக்களை பதிவு செய்யும் வகையிலும், எதிர்பாலின நெறிமுறை விவரிப்புகளை மறுக்கும் வகையிலான கதைகளையும் எதிர்நோக்குகிறோம்.
எங்கள் அடிப்படை விதி, ஆதிக்கத்துக்கும் மேலாண்மைவாதத்திற்கும் சவாலாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதே. பால்புதுமையினர் வேறுபட்ட மக்களை உள்ளடக்கியவர்கள், அதனால் கலைஞர்கள் மற்றும் எழுத்தாளர்கள், பொதுச் சிந்தனைக்கு வெளியே யோசிப்பதை ஊக்குவிக்கிறோம். இது சிக்கலான உரையாடல்களையும் மேற்கொள்ளும் தளமாக இருக்கவே விரும்புகிறோம்.
உங்கள் எழுத்துகள் புனைவு, கவிதை, சமூக வர்ணனைகள், பரந்த பால்புது கலாச்சாரம், திரைப்படம், புத்தகம், பால்புதுமையினர் வாழ்வியலில் நடக்கும் அரசியல், கொள்கைகள் மற்றும் பலவற்றை பற்றியும் இருக்கலாம்.

QCCயின் பால்புது பக்கங்கள் அனைவருக்குமான தளம். மக்கள் சிந்தித்து, உரையாடி, மேலும் தொடர்ந்து செயல்படுவதற்கான இடம். இதற்கு முன் நீங்கள் எங்களுக்கு எழுதியதில்லை என்றால், உங்கள் பின்னணி குறித்தும் எழுத்து அனுபவம் குறித்தும் சொல்வது எங்களுக்கு உதவியாக இருக்கும். உங்களைப் பற்றி மேலும் அறிந்துகொள்ளவும், உங்களின் எழுத்துக்களை எழுத்து நடையை புரிந்து கொள்ளவும் எங்களுக்கு உதவும். நீங்கள் பண்பட்ட எழுத்தாளர் இல்லை என்றாலும் முதல்முறையாக எழுதுபவர் என்றாலும் பரவாயில்லை. உங்கள் எழுத்து தேர்வாகும் பட்சத்தில், தேவைப்பட்டால் எங்கள் இதழாசிரியர் உங்களிடம் கலந்துரையாடுவார்.
எங்களை அணுகும்போது உங்கள் முழு கட்டுரையையும் அனுப்ப வேண்டாம். எழுதவிருப்பதை ஓரிரு பத்திகளில் சொல்லவும். எங்களின் வலை இதழை வாசித்து இந்த தளத்தையும் வாசகர்களையும் புரிந்துகொள்வதை உறுதி செய்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

Paalputhu Pakkangkal by Queer Chennai Chronicles (QCC) strives to tell diverse narratives in the form of literature – fiction, poems, art – opinion pieces and reporting in either Tamil or English. This document is intended to outline what the editors are looking for, how you can pitch your stories to us, and what our conditions are.
Read the webzine
Before sending in your idea, make sure you read the webzine so you are clear what kind of stories we are after. In general, we are looking for stories that would enable to further the queer discourse, document queer narratives, and stories that defy cis heterosexual-normative narrations.
Our basic rule is to challenge dominant and supremacist narratives. Queer persons are diverse and we encourage writers and artists to think out of the box. We also strive to be a place where difficult conversations can be held.
Your writing could be fiction, poetry, social commentary, the vast queer culture, films, books, politics that touch upon queer lives, policies, etc.
Pitching
Paalputhu Pakkangkal by QCC is a place for all. A place for people to think, discuss and proceed. If you haven’t written for us before, it is helpful to tell us about your background and writing experience. It will help us understand about you more and understand your pitch. It is ok if you are not a professional writer, and it is ok if you are a first time writer. If required one of our editors will discuss with you once your pitch is selected.
Do not send us the complete piece when you pitch. Tell us in couple of paragraphs on what you intend to write. Make sure you read our webzine and understand the platform and the readers.
